Were these rocks underwater?<br> Sightseeing in Sydney picture - We are high up on the cliffs, the sea is some distance away, at a much lower height. Yet, were these rocks once underwater? The honeycomb like patterns, identical to ones made by barnacles on rocks by the seaside, seem to suggest so. If these are indeed barnacle holes, there there mush have been one heck of a tectonic movement around here! These rocks are themselves at a height: the base on which they stand start from forehead level. This makes the concept even more fascinating. </div></nolayer></noembed>
