Did I mention that Australia is the land of parrots? (see Melbourne pics: link in the article accompanying this). A handful of these rather vocal critters landed on a shrub below someone's window, as we walked from the bus stop to my friend John Lacey's house in the suburb of Balmain. This is a rainbow lorikeet.
