One of Sydney's lungs is the Botanical Gardens, situated right in the middle of those ugly skyscrapers, many of whom have replaced pleasant old heritage buildings. Our walk across the Sydney Harbor Bridge ended in this garden. My wife poses before an unusually shaped New Caledonian Pine tree. Note the Sydney skyline all around.
