If you are looking for a place to just chill out? I highly recommend dahab. If you are looking for somewhere to go Diving? Then i also recommend Dahab.... Basically it is superb for all types of holidays.

I arrived with the ambition of becoming a certified diver. I am now an Advanced Certified diver with new horizons. It is just so easy to do what ever you want here. I have met people that have been here for months, but they had only planned to stay a few weeks. this place is intoxicating.

If you want to travel cheap i suggest not booking that much accomodation before you arrive because once you are here you can have a look around and there are some awesome bargains. At first I stayed in a bungalow with ensuite for 4 pound sterling per night, then i decided to upgrade to something with airconditioning. I looked around and found a place called Penguin Camp, it had double/twin rooms with air-con for 6 pounds per night. Amazing value i think...

Also, food is very cheap aswell. Even the expensive waterside restaurants are cheap. A three course meal there would set you back about 3-5 pounds. The best quality food that i found was at Tota's, its a restaurant in the shape of a boat, but has excellent food. If you want cheaper than this then you have to have a look around, usually away from the beach. Another good place for lunch is Fantasea dive centre, its cheap and also tasty..

Again, i cant recommend Dahab enough so i wish you well if you decide to experience it.... Guaranteed to fall in love.
