This set of images completes the trip to Costa Rica and Panama. On our last full day on the cruise we sailed to the San Blas Islands on the Atlantic coast of Panama. The region has been independently governed by the Kuna Indians since the 1920s. The islands are mostly unihabited and those that are seem to be densely housed. Molas are a traditional Kuna handicraft and were sold in abundance at both islands we visited. Our first stop in the islands was Wichub-Wala where the walkways were encased in hanging molas for sale.
