Hamburg, Germany is the home of the Steinway Piano Factory. Getting into see the process of piano making, from wood to a tuned piano was a life long dream of Bob;s.

We traveled to Hamburg and stayed friends. The head of the household was a *Steinmeister*. Henning owned a company where he sculpted tombstones. Through Henning we got the opportunity to tour the Steinway factory. A friend of Henning's is employed as a Craftsman in the Steinway factory. Making a Steinway piano is indeed a work of art.
