In September 2003, we started our biking trip in Arcachon (nice little town on the Atlantic Ocean famous for the fresh oysters and the Dune du Pilat). After Arcachon, we rode north along the Ocean to Lacanau. Then we rode east and explored the famous wine country around Bordeaux, the Dordogne, the Lot, the Gorges du Tarn, Mont Lozere, the Gorges de l'Ardeche and we finally arrived to our final destination: Avignon. What a fun adventure!! (1300 kms)
