After riding along the Atlantic Ocean, we headed east across the famous vineyards of the Bordeaux region and took a ferry to Blaye. Viticulteurs were very busy with the harvesting. Year 2003 because of a very hot Summer, is probably going to be an excellent year for the quality of the wine but not the quantity (not enough rain and no irrigation). Sante!!
