This is a collection of pictures from a trip to the Upper Egypt we made in May, 2004. We came by air to Luxor from Cairo, then going to Aswan by road. The trip ended with a one-day air trip to Abu Simbel. Sailing the Nile from Luxor to Aswan is the most popular, but we preferred a road trip in order to be closer to landscapes and people, and we didn't regret it.
