This is a collection of pictures from a trip to the Upper Egypt we made in May, 2004. We came by air to Luxor from Cairo, then going to Aswan by road. The trip ended with a one-day air trip to Abu Simbel. Sailing the Nile from Luxor to Aswan is the most popular, but we preferred a road trip in order to be closer to landscapes and people, and we didn't regret it.

Temples of Karnak and Luxor, and the graves of the King's and Queen's Valleys, are the most famous and visited places of the Upper Egypt, but other less known ... (more)
