Travels With Bob - North Africa

Tangier is known as the *Crossroads of the World.* It is renowned for its almost perfect climate. We came to Morocco via The Rock Of Gibraltar, via Spain. We were staying in Malaga Spain and decided on a day trip, rather than staying for a few day in Morocco.

a Day Trip in Tangier Morocco
We all had a great time in Spain, the Day trip to Tangier Morocco could not praise the Service and facility any higher. i was very impressed by the layout, email: tarifatravel@gmail.com information given and prompt reply when booking. We were surprised to learn he was relatively new at his job because he was so knowledgeable about the history of Spain/Morocco. in Tangier Morocco our Private guide Daniel was great. We, very much, enjoyed his company, he made our visit in Morocco very special! Ali is a very safe, patient and experienced driver, we never felt unsafe in Mr Ali's hands!! A Day-Trip In Tangier [Morocco _Africa]
We decided to go on a one day tour of Tanger, Morocco.It´s a 35 minute ferry ride over the Gibraltar strait,for a one day Tour, arranged By Daniel, a Tour Manager from Spain.Tangier is very Nice & our Guide Charif Was a Good Man.he took us through the old city, the Medina, Casbah and couple of Berber tribesman with snakes put on a little show for us and gave us an option of taking a picture with the snakes.For lunch they served us Moroccan soup, shish kebabs,and couscous with chicken.There was a local band playing Moroccan music to set the mood and they finished the meal with some desert,and mint tea. After taking us through the Berber market place we were off on a Mini-bus Tour of the city.all in All, Tangier Was Very Interesting & Worth the visit. Our Private Guide Charif was fabulous. Tangier experiences
Good to hear positive experiences from Tangier. All we read is about hustling tour guides and similar stories. We read about the packaged tours for 1 day, from the Costa del Sol, as not being worth the trip, etc, but next time we are there, I'd like to take the chance and see Tangier. Bob K.
