These pix were taken in the Silvan Forest, 70 km east of Melbourne, on November 30, 2005.
They show various hiking trails I explored - the Olinda Creek Track, the Greygum Track, Track 18, and the Messmate Track. These all start/link up at the overflow carpark, opposite the main entrance to the Silvan Reservoir.
When viewing these photos, please note that the forest is mainly regrowth, as the area was virtually destroyed in the disastrous 1939 bushfires.
