The new mosque, which was built to replace the old mosque seen here on the left, was built among the stilt houses of this kampung which is adjacent to the new mosque. The kampung suffered a lot of damage from the tsunami that hit that beach on December 26 2004. (My photos were taken about 2 months later.)
