with a spectacular view near Balik Pulau in the south-west corner of the island. My new local photographer friend Jon graciously took me there for dinner one evening. We took a left turn somewhere between Teluk Kumbar and Balik Pulau (there was a small Bukit Genting sign at the corner)and drove up the hill on a steep, narrow cemented track. The trip up was well worth it. The restaurant is not that well known, at least not yet. (Recreational hikers often climb the hills and use the track during the evenings and on weekends.)
