As we checked into the Mayan Palace in Acapulco, we learned that an exhibition tennis tournament was scheduled that night at the hotel.

They had emptied the artificial lake in the courtyard, erected temporary stands and four of the top senior tennis players in the world would be playing. We were delighted to hear that Joan had bought four tickets and so Pat and Gail and I joined her for the show.
