has a gorgeous view of the Laguna Madre Bay and the site for spectacular sunsets. It is surrounded by a wide stretch of sand flat which allows vehicular access to the bay, and miles of undeveloped coast beyond. Visitors have access across the nearby marsh by taking the Laguna Madre Nature Trail, a raised boardwalk system that allows nature lovers to watch birds and to spot a resident alligator family. We walked along the boardwalk, along with a pack of bird watchers, but didn't see no alligators. waaaaaaaaaa
