Unfortunately, Worldisround has been unable to generate enough revenue to keep up with its operating expenses. Until now it has relied on its founder and contractor for substantial support, but we are no longer in a position to continue on this basis. If you know of anyone who is interested in (and capable of) owning and operating the site, please let us know. Otherwise, we intend to go offline in a few weeks, and we will stop accepting content effective immediately.
It has been an honor to serve you and the community these past 8 years, and we hope you've enjoyed the site. Fortunately, there are now many places on the web to share and enjoy photos, and we hope you will take advantage of them.
If you have any questions, please e-mail us at info@worldisround.com Shahram Razavi, April 27, 2008

Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad that these photo galleries are bringing you and other Iranians joy. We should also thank those photgraphers whose beautiful pictures I'm showcasing in these galleries. Yes they say I'm a Seyed (A descendant of the eight Emam, Emam Reza (PbuH))- Whether I am truly Seyed or not, I do not know. But If I am, then I am immensly honored to be so. And if part of me then is not Iranian because of this, then that's absolutely fine with me. I wouldn't mind being a descendant of Jesus Christ or Moses (PbuT), even though they were not Iranian. Thank you again. Showcase IRAN (by various photographers), December 19, 2006

Thank you for posting the beautiful photos that encompass and document the recent history of Iran in such a beautiful fashion. And thank you and praise to you also for your civilized response to the immature and irresponsible comments by Shahrokh. Hope to see more of your photoso soon. Stefan, July 2, 2006
