Shahbanou with Princess Ashraf, the late Shah of Iran's twin sister, at the funeral of Princess Leyla Pahlavi in Paris. The young princess seems to have passed away in her hotel room in London in August 2001 from possibly mixing and over-dosing prescription drugs. She suffered from depression and eating disorders.
