The Shah of Iran
picture - His title in Persian "Alaa-Hazrat Homayoun, Shahanshah Aryamehr, Shahanshah-e Iran" translates into English as "His Imperial Majesty, His Greatness, the King of Kings, Light of the Aryans, the Emperor of Iran". He passed away in exile in Cairo, Egypt on July 26, 1980, after having been forced together with his immediate family to go from one country to another in search of refuge. The Shah, as well as many prominent Iranian political figures, claimed and still claim that certain powerful elements in the U.S.A. and Britain, including some powerful oil companies, conspired against the Shah and his regime. And there is ample evidence pointing towards that the CIA and some other powerful players in the West were plotting against the peacock throne in Tehran prior to and during the Iranian revolution in 1979, just as they are plotting against Iran today.
