An evening cruise on the Ottawa River makes a very popular finale for high school graduations. Visble in the background is the mouth of the Gatineau River. Just to the right of it is a park where the balloons are launched for the annual Gaineau Hot Air Balloon Festival. They often pass right over the Pavilion or the nearby lookout.
