Zihuatenejo has changed a lot in the thirty years since we first visited this town on the Mexican Riviera , about 200 miles north of Acapulco . Its dirt streets have given way to asphalt, and the few sidewalk vendors have given way to hundreds of shops and boutiques. And the population has exploded.
