Hundred Islands National Park

The Hundred Islands is Pangasinan's best-known attraction. A cluster of small uninhabited islets located a short boat ride from Lucap pier, five km north of Alaminos, Pangasinan. These eroded rocky outcrops have a few small sandy beaches that can get crowded on holidays.

Because of its special characteristics, scientific importance, uniqueness and high scenic value, the national committee on geograpical sciences declared the hundred islands of Pangasinan as a national geological monument last Sept. 2001.

I love this rental house!
This rental house is nice and really affordable. We enjoyed our stay in Hundred Islands. We can even cook our own food because it has a kitchen with complete utensils and a refrigerator! I love this rental house!

Promoting Hundred Islands Abroad
Being a son of Pangasinan, I have been promoting our own scenic spot and National Park, Hundred Islands, abroad through POSTCARDS featuring our HUNDRED ISLANDS to my fellow postcrossers from POSTCROSSING and POSTCARDHEAVEN members abroad. And my Postcards of Hundred Islands are their favorite cards. And my fellow postcard collectors abroad (U.S.A./Europe) are amazed of its breathtaking sights and beauty.

I do have an album,too, featuring the photos I took when our family visited Hundred Islands last May 21,2010, in my FACEBOOK account.

This is my only little way of promoting our country abroad.

Help Hundred Islands
There are a lot of transient homes around hundred islands. You can ask a tricycle from the bus terminal of victory liner or fivestar to point you to the possible places near the dock. If you have a ride just follow the tricycle. ;)

Help & Advice is highly appreciated
Hi... I need assistance/advice from those who had been to 100 Island. My family (15pax) would like to go for some adventure-vacation on January 9, 2010 and my target places are baguio and pangasinan. Is it in the same direction? I planned to stay 2 days for 100 island adventure before or after the trip to baguio. We have our own means of transpo so im just curious if there are safe parking space from the resorts/hotel visinity? And,is 1 day enough to stroll around the 100 island, as it says that its just a mini kinni islets? Please if you could give me some insights on how to go about our itenerary, it would be of great thanks. Its a surprise for my family. Im from Dubai and have no other source of infromation aside from websearch. Thanks in advance.

Amazing Hundred Islands
I was so amazed with its beauty when I first went to Alaminos 100 islands last year. Literally I said the words "WOW" on the Banca Ride. It's easy to amuse me especially if its about natures beauty. Its unimaginable that a pile of islands like these exists and here in our country pa! Super Proud ako as a PINOY na we have HUndred Islands -World Class!!!

I have been to hundred islands in 1985 nung bata pa ko. We would swim from one island to the next closest one as long as we're being watched closely by adults. Malunod ka dun hindi ka mapapansin. Maganda talaga, yun nga lang noon (i hope hindi na ngayon), umeebak ang mga tao kung saan-saan kaya nangangamoy sa mga sulok-sulok nang mga isla. Kahit hindi gaaanong developed maganda basta malinis lang sana. Kaya dapat ipagbawal talaga ang pag-da-download nang stinky load kung saan-saan. Para kay Dina, any spherical object is round. Wag kang mag-ko-korek kung hindi ka naman korek.

Hi jenny: Ron here, from the USA. Loved the One Hundred Islands. In my thirty days in trhe Philippines, this was my favorite place. I brought home more pictures of the One Hundred Islands than any where else and was only there two days and was on seven islands. What made it better was, we were there after a storm and during the week. I also found some beautiful shells that had been wasked up on the beach. Tried climbing to the top of one of the islands. Didn't make it. Great place.
