December 12, 2005, we made a trip to Sosua Beach from Puerto Plata. Northern DR. The pictures look better if you view them in original size.

Sosua Beach was an experience. Lovely beach, and right by it, so much stuff to buy your head will spin.

This is sort of an afterthought about being a tourist. I (Riia) resent the fact that people assume that all tourists have a lot of money. Most of us do not - in fact, if we paid for a trip that was pretty expensive, most of us have little left over to spend on other stuff. I understand, ... (more)
