Here are the pictures from the next leg of the Chile journey, spectacular Atacama. The desert itself is not that impressive, as for example Wadi Rum in Jordan (will scan and upload those pictures some day :)) ,but San Pedro de Atacama can be used as a starting point for quite a few trips to the nearby Andes, ruins and volcanoes.
