The Yarra Valley Tourist Railway uses the 5'3" line which formerly ran from Lilydale to Healesville, 60 km east of Melbourne.

The last regular steam passenger service was hauled in August, 1964. The last service to use a Walker Rail Car was mid 1978(22RM), when this was replaced with a DERM (Diesel Electric Rail Motor) 62 until 1979 when DERM 58 took over until the end of the service on 9/12/80.
