In December of 2005 we travelled to Sydney, Australia and from there drove up the coast to Coffs Harbour, about a 6 to 7 hour drive. We stayed at the Opal Cove Resort which is about 7 km's north or Coffs Harbour. This area contains some fantastic beaches for surfing or swimming, rainforest bushwalks, sea & river kayaking and many tourist spots which are certainly worth a visit (the Pet Porpoise Pool is great fun if you like to interact with marine life).
