Built in Australia, the replica of Captain Cooks ship the HM Bark Endeavour sailed in to Whitby Harbour in May 1997 to be greeted by thousands of people lining not only the quayside of the pretty fishing town, but also clinging to the cliffsides to gain a better view of this beautiful sailing ship.
