*The same goes for China in '49 & Russia in 1917. After so much chaos in both countries, the vast majority of its citizen opted for the communists since they appeared to be the best group that can put an end to all the chaos taking place.

But of course, the citizens of both countries didn't foresee how Mao or Stalin [Lenin's successor] would govern & the rest was history. Just ask the Chinese how they feel about their government or ask the people of Russia & Central Europe how they feel about the old Soviet Union. (I rest my case.)

But what about the U.S. & its current Bush administration? What was the prevailing circumstance in the U.S. that catapulted Bush in the White House back in 2000?
