Well, it can be said that the chaos in Florida 2000 is what catapulted Bush in the presidency even if his opponent Al Gore actually had +1 million more votes. Or it can also be said that the mini-chaos in the U.S. Supreme Court back in 2000 is what catapulted Bush in the White House. Or it can also be said that the morally inept, womanizing ways of Bill Clinton is what made a number of Americans vote for Bush instead of Gore (Clinton's vice president) though it still remains a fact that Gore had +1 million votes more. *It is a well-known fact that the Monica Lewinsky affair (along Bill's other womanizing affairs throughout his 8 yrs. presidency) really turned-off a lot of American voters thereby voting Republican Bush since the Republicans are the party of conservative, Christian values unlike the liberal Democrats.
