A place where the puzzle pieces all come together and fit perfectly. My husband and I are outdoor photographers and through no fault of mine; it appears that I have become a landscape specialist. We travel hundreds of kilometers each week and always off road and in the back country. We are rewarded with so much raw beauty and wildlife.. it simply is one of the most pristine places on this continent.

But it needs protecting, one must be careful where one goes and always careful to leave it in better shape that we find it.

It is one of the MOST sought after places in Canada to vacation and to retire. The weather is the warmest in Canada. We get very little snow and in summertime it is dry and really hot.. like 46 celcius.

We are home to the Western Rattler(protected)Burrowing Owl(almost extinct) Tiger Salamander (red listed)Badger,we have over 128 bird species and many rare floral species such as the Mariposa Lily.

We are right on the USA border and share this beautiful valley with all . Known the world over for our wines and especially our Ice Wines, soft fruits and friendly folks.We are a Tourist Destination(which locals are not that crazy about)and we have small town values and small town heart.
