Just opposite the train station, these excellently maintained gardens and nearby streets felt like they belonged in Austria or Switzerland, rather than Croatia! (Bear in mind, this is my opinion based on my pre-conceptions of the Balkan area. Pleased to say that my negative thoughts were quickly banished!)
