The Badger Weir Picnic Ground is about 65 km east of Melbourne, in a major water catchment area of the Yarra Ranges National Park, near the town of Healseville.

There are several interesting walking tracks passing through lush fern and eucalypt forests, some of which take visitors to the Weir itself.
