From September to December 2003, I had the opportunity to work on a contract underwriting assignment with a very large mortgage company in Minneapolis. Not having been to the city before, I really didn't know what to expect. My only thought was....WINTER in Minneapolis!!! I'd heard the horror stories before and I can't say that I was overly thrilled by the idea.
