The virgin land of Patagonia lies at the southern tip of the South American continent, a unique and undisturbed wilderness. Its cluster of lofty granite peaks, though not the highest in the Cordillera, are among the worlds most spectacular. Our journey will take us from the bustling city of Buenos Aires to the windswept coastline of the Valdés Peninsula, with its abundance of marine life. Heading further south we will spend time on the distant land of Tierra del Fuego aptly described as the uttermost end of the earth before exploring the desolate beauty of the Patagonian steppe, where guanaco roam the plains and the Andean condor wheels overhead. Well also spend several days exploring Torres del Paine and Los Glaciares National Parks on foot, both places of outstanding beauty. Explore Worldwide http://www.exploreworldwide.com
