Did Pakistan and India have really switched to reconciliation mode?

History The Indian kingdom came into existence 712 AD under Islamic rule. By the 12th century the entire north of the Indian sub continent was under the power of the Muslim sultanate. Yes, it doesn't make sense...and for the same exact reason it doesn't make sense for "Pakistan" to claim it as a national history. The "national histories" of modern post-colonial nation states are largely fairy tales and myths.

First of all the Indus Valley and Gandhara Civilizations are Pakistan's HISTORY not india's. India and Pakistan did not even exist up until 1947! Even the term india was coined by the British and before 1947 were a bunch of smaller states! There was no india, hence how does india claim the Indus Valley, Mehrgarh and Gandhara? That would be like Iran claiming Babylon, since Iraq never existed...doesn't make sense.

Just a little correction. I do not think that "History The Indian kingdom came into existence in 712 AD under Islamic rule". Indian history goes back to Indus Valley civilization & Vaidic civilization for more than 5000 yrs old. The Magadha Empire & The Mourya Empire date back in 500BC. Birth of Buddha in 346BC & spread of Buddism across India & Central Asia took place during Maurya & Gupta Empires. Taxila & Purushpura(Peshawar) in present day Pakistan and Bukhara & Samarkand in present day Uzbekistan were centers of rich Buddhist culture at that time.
