Nice narration. We too enjoyed the Srisailam tour some time back. Though we missed the Akka MahaDevi Caves, we had been to the "Yista KamEswari" Temple which is located deep in dense forest. We hired a jeep and the ride recalls "Hatari"

Srisailam Trip
That was a nice trip you guys had. Even, we went almost on the same route, just a little bit different. We went to a place called Mallela Theertham (you need to take a turn in the forest) and also to Bheemuni Kolanu (road opposite to Phaaladaara and Panchadaara). Dornala
We stayed at Dornala in the Punnami resort over night just about a few days back when a cyclone hit the south coast.The rooms were very goodand inexpensive. We were on our way back to Hyderabad from Tirupati. We started from Dornala for Srisailam at about 9 am. It rained throughout the nignt and was still raining.The mountains were covered with thick clouds and we literally drove through the clouds and dense fog.It was a great sight and a great feel. We should be proud of the scenic beauty Dornala and Srisailam has to offers besides the tempel.
