Went out to beautiful Alberta, Canada to visit my parents for Christmas 2005. A chinook system was comming in over Calgary and so brought with it warmer temperatures which melted the snow in the Calgary area. There was still plenty of good snowboarding snow up in the mountains. I had to cheat with some of these photos to create the impression that there was more snow than there really was- this illusion was often created by lying down in the stuff.
