Koh Chang is the 2nd largest island after Phuket and it kind of made me think of how Koh Samui would have been 20 years ago. If you want to relax on a beautiful peaceful beach without too much nightlife then this is the place. Another advantage is its close proximity to Bangkok, you can travel by bus or car without needing to jump on another plane.
