And the other side. I gotta say, I had heard a lot about Coober Pedy, so I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it really turned out to be a pretty hideous place. The whole underground thing was interesting, but since most were just dug into the sides of hills, my original vision of disappearing down a long and treacherous tunnel to the mole-like homes below was somewhat squashed.
