Very nice... I really love to see all these picture. But unfortunately you should St Peter's Church as well. Cause that is the oldest church too. You also should take some picture from Portugese Settlement. Infant Jesus Convent, ha... that's my school. Thanks for your beautiful pictures

Great collection of photos, much more than the usual collection. Looks like you strayed off the beaten path which is great! How long were you there? You have good captions which I like ;o) I have several favs ie 10 the galleon, 11 the river shot, 32 the kampong house & the other kampong house you show, & esp like the Jasin area. Melaka has been on my list for a long time but just never seem to get there, which is a shame as I'm not that far away during the winters I spend in Penang. tsk tsk.....

It's Macau
Melaka is just a quaint old historical town in Malaysia.. no gambling... it's easy to mix Macau with Melaka as both has rich Portugese influence... if anything Melaka is the playground for rich singaporeans.. not Hongkies..
