SYNOPSIS: - Signature Vacations (Sunflight), Skyservice. - Fun Royale/Tropicale, Puerto Plata, Playa Dorada complex. - It's still getting better. - The new beach bar is going to be THE talk of the beach. - The hotel is a nice place, plain and not fancy. - The facilities may be a little dated, but they're SUPER CLEAN. - We had no complaints about the food. - It's pretty good, simple and not gourmet. - The selections didn't particularly suit 'my' tastes this year. - But ... After reading your review and viewing your photo's I'm so..... excited......!!!!!

We (my "Mom") and I will be visiting this Resort in two weeks! I upon booking, felt that this may not be the best of "Holidays" but felt the price was well worth it.........."Now" (after finding your info).....I think I capitalized on a typo error!

Will be in touch upon our return.....again, thank you for all the info. This holiday retreat is looking better and better........

i just returned from a 3week holiday there and am still well known by all the staff (i have been going for 10 years though) it feels wierd being home im back off out there asap to see all my friends and chill in the warm weather. missing everyone

I always enjoy your photos Bob - no matter how I run across them (Debbie's Dominican Travel, DR1 or just by googling the DR!) I came across your latest trip just now and it brought a tear to my eye - I miss the DR with my whole heart and your photos have made me even more nostalgic!! Hi BOB I have been browsing trough all your photos and read your articles about Fun Tropicale since we are going to spend easter there this year. Your enthusiams is great and we are very much looking forward to go there.
