Ste-Anne-du-Ruisseau
Nova Scotia picture - This church in Ste-Anne-du-Ruisseau was built in 1900 with the first mass being the Christmas Midnight mass that year. The church, a municipally registered heritage property, has original paintings on the ceiling and sanctuary wall, stained-glass windows, vaulted ceilings and a collection of church furnishings. Ste-Anne parish is the oldest parish in South West Nova Scotia and the oldest still active Acadian parish on mainland Nova Scotia.
