It was built originally in Georgian times, the spa has the natural springs and pump rooms and the famous Abbey which you can see in the photos.

Bath Abbey is said to be one of the biggest tourist attractions in England, outside of London, and at almost any time you can see tourists with cameras everywhere all around the Abbey, from Japanese tourists snapping away a thousand pictures to Americans with masses of professional cameras, setting up tripods everywhere.

Bath is not really a City to drive to if you dont know your way, the myriad of one way streets will soon get you completely lost, find a car park on the edge of the City, (If you come in on the A4, upper Bristol road theres one just over the river)then go on foot from there into the City, its only a short walk.

Bath City is adorned with pubs and shops of all description, the narrow streets and stone buildings make a great day out.
