Three weeks in Normandy and the Dordogne regions of France in May of 2000 persuaded me that it would be a wonderful place to reside permanently. Rapeseed fields were in bloom. Wheatfields were green and rolling. Poppies invaded the wheatfields for riots of color. Monet/s Garden was at its colorful best.
