The two status towers, Torre Garisenda (l) and Torre degli Asinelli (r), are the symbol of Bologna, and yes, they both lean. Garisenda leaned so much, in fact, that they lopped off the top and closed it to the public for safety reasons. Asinelli has a staircase inside, leading to the top. San Petronio is the patron saint of Bologna.
