While visiting Rome, I visited a number of sites, including some with Christian ties outside the Vatican, although in once case it was a movie that gave the church its fame. The Basilica San Giovanni in Laterano and Santuario della Scala Santa sites are arguably among the most significant Christian sites in Rome outside the Vatican.
