Trailblazer 1984
I did a TrekAmerica trip in beginning July 1984, wow what memories. Im from Australia and was travelling by myself, it was a wonderful experience. Thankyou Todd(I guess you probably have retired by now lol). I have been back to the US 3 times since to visit some friends I met on my trip, lifetime friends.

Hi, my wife and I did the Westerner 2 in 1992. I have travelled a lot in my life, but this trip still stands out as the best ever. So great to see you pics of Las Vegas from 1981...wow, hasn't that placed changed. Doesn't time pass so quickly!

A colleague just joined TREKAMERICA and while surfing thru the website to find out about the company I came across your site ... This is something I've always wanted to do - an adventure / a road trip ... if u had never had ur first one in your twenties, would you start now? With hindsight - would it still be the same?

So right you are, an everlasting travel! We never forget this fabulous journey across USA. In 1984 my friend and I (we are both from Denmark)went on almost the same trip as you did, except we started in New Yourk end ended up in Los Angeles. Beautiful and breathtaking! I have really enjoyed looking at your Trek pictures. They are much like the ones I took during September of 93 when on my Trek, "Pacific Dream". I feel so enriched for the 28 days I spent wandering around the west coast. The memories and highlights are plentiful and in full technicolor. I was heartbroken when the Trek ended... I could have gone on forever. Thank you to Jose, my Trek leader, and all my fellow traveling companions. In 1993, I celebrated my 21st birthday under Delicate Arch at Moab NP, and I'm planning to take another Trek next summer when I'll celebrate another birthday, my 35th, off the beaten track. And I can't wait. xxx

Southerner 2004
Thankyou for your pictures and words. I too have journeyed on the 'Southerner' in 2004 and found it to be an impressive life experience. I loved being 'on the road' so much I have been on three more treks since. Good luck finding your fellow trekkers.

1981 Trek America
Good pics brings back memories, i went on same trek, differnt to yours. I had my 28th birthday while i was on there in 1981.Memories for life it was fantastic, if any of my fellow travelers see this send me an email.
