The valley is not a valley in the conventional sense, but rather a wide flat, sometimes desolate landscape. The area is entirely within the Navajo Indian Reservation on the Utah/Arizona border. La vallata non è proprio tale nel senso convenzionale del termine, quanto piuttosto una piatta ed a volte desolata pianura.
