Our youngest daughter gave us a long weekend stay at the Don Cesar and these are some of the photos. The Don Cesar has been around for a very long time and was once the favorite place for Al Capone to stay. It is right on the beach in St. Petersburg Beach and only a short drive from Ft. Desoto Park. Great place to stay but you must remember that it is very old, remodeled yes, but still old. I don/t think they ever could get the smell of smokers out of the rooms so even when you ask for non-smoking it may smell like a smoker/s ... (more)
