Penangites are blessed with a cool environment with several forest trails on the Island. Although Penang Island is also located near to the equator, the hottest part of the earth, we are lucky enough to have preserved our tropical rainforest where we are able to enjoy our morning or evening pleasant walks. One of the areas which are highly recommended is the Western Hill trail, the highest point on the Island.
