This nest is about 18" + thick X 4' X 4', it's huge. From this main nest grows several fingers going in every direction , filled with termites. These fingers are about the same size around as an adult's little finger. Just imagine that the guide that was with us ran his own finger thru one of these many termite's fingers. Several hundreds of termites came running out of just this one.
